WeAre is a members-only network alliance closing the racial wealth gap by empowering professionals in tech and sustainability from the African diaspora, Latino, Asian and Pacific Islander (API), Indigenous, Middle Eastern, and South Asian backgrounds. We do this by fostering connection, driving innovation, and empowering growth and prosperity in the industries of technology and sustainability.

With a goal to close the racial wealth gap, WeAre brings together entrepreneurs, inventors, and professionals through events and resources that support professional growth, learning, innovation, and leadership. With 85% of jobs filled through connections rather than traditional postings (LinkedIn) and 78% of startup founders citing networking as vital to success (Forbes), WeAre leverages the power of networking, support and inspiration to transform sustainability and technology into industries where our people prosper and excel.

Meet the Founder of WeAre, Corina Kaufman

Success isn’t about fitting into a system. It’s about building the one you need.

Corina Kaufman Marketing Leader Founder of WeAre
Corina Kaufman is the founder of WeAre, a members-only professional alliance dedicated  to closing the racial wealth gap by exposing and connecting underrepresented communities in tech and sustainability. Her work is driven by a lived understanding that traditional pathways don’t define potential—and that brilliance often shows up in places the system fails to see.

Corina’s journey is anything but linear. She was kicked out of high school, convinced she wouldn’t live past 26, and felt certain that the world had no place for someone who didn’t fit the mold. But with grit, intuition, and a relentless drive to build wealth, she broke into tech—a move that transformed her life. Not only did she find a career, she found autonomy and financial independence she wasn’t born into.

Today, Corina serves as the Head of Growth for Glīd, an autonomous, sustainable logistics technology company redefining the future of freight. She leads global marketing for the organization, focused on influencing revenue and growth. Over the course of her career, she has influenced more than $500M in revenue across global enterprises, high-growth startups, and companies innovating at the edge of technology.

But Corina’s work is not driven by achievement—it’s driven by legacy.

WeAre is dedicated to her first role model, Anthony Cooper, whose intellect, depth, and quiet brilliance shaped her understanding of what human potential really looks like. His love, encouragement, and belief in her still motivate her daily. WeAre exists because of people like Anthony—people whose potential is extraordinary but who were never given the pathways, protection, or economic vehicles they deserved.

Corina built WeAre to change that.

WeAre is a community for professionals in tech and sustainability from the African diaspora, Latino, Asian and Pacific Islander (API), Indigenous, Middle Eastern, and South Asian backgrounds, as well as the allies who support them.

Through curated events, professional development, mentorship, and high-value networking, Corina is creating the ecosystem she once needed: a place where underrepresented innovators can build careers, launch companies, grow influence, and create generational change—supported, seen, and connected.
